Maldon Town Council has announced significant changes to this year’s Christmas lights switch-on event.

After careful consideration, Maldon Town Council has announced that it will be delivering a modest Christmas lights switch-on event in place of this year's Christmas Fayre, due to take place on Thursday 28th November 2024 from 5pm to 9pm.

The High Street will be filled with festive atmosphere, joy and excitement with street stalls and indoor craft markets and the event promises to be a great evening where the community can come together. There will be entertainment from local performers, the traditional Santa’s Grotto, and a selection of stalls selling local wares, indoor craft markets selling bespoke items, along with hot food and refreshments on offer from local businesses.

This event is organised by the Maldon Town Council.
