VIKING SAGA River Trips

NO TRIPS IN 2020 - SORRY

Due to the operational challenges presented by the Covid-19 virus and the need to keep passengers and crew safe, it has been decided that the Viking Saga will not be running any scheduled trips this year.

The Viking Saga was built locally in 1947 and following a complete restoration she is available for cruises from Maldon and neighbouring ports. Most public trips are 40 minute excursions from Maldon Promenade out past Heybridge, towards Osea Island then back in the opposite direction past Hythe Quay.

Taking a cruise on the Viking Saga is probably the best way to view Hythe Quay with its attractive fleet of Thames sailing barges. The Viking Saga has a licensed bar, lounge and toilets. Private charters are also available.

Dogs are allowed.

All cruises are subject to weather, tide and local conditions.
