Full programme of activities both afloat and ashore. Watch tradiitional and modern yachts race up the river from West Mersea to Maldon. Stalls, refreshments and live music during the evening, and the much-loved 'Duck Race'.

Lawrence & Holloman, written by Morris Panych, is a dark comedy covering the story of two people and how their lives take a dramatic turn. Lawrence, a happy-go-lucky ladies man with more optimism and luck than functioning brain cells creates a stark contrast to Holloman, a pessimistic & introverted individual with a dim outlook on life and scarce social skills. With plenty of laughs to be had along the way and some lessons to be learned, Lawrence and Holloman is a show not to be missed!

The Art Trail showcases the work of local artists in shops, cafés, and public buildings in and around Maldon. From paintings and photographs to sculptures, textiles, millinery, and paper-cutting, the diverse range of work that has appeared over the years proves time and time again, the talent of the region’s artists. Many of the exhibits will be displayed in windows and viewable 24/7 for the duration of the trail but please check the art trail website for more detail.

Big Band at Stow Maries Aerodorme

Listen tto the Big Band sound of The Real Swing in the atmospheric Mess Hall at Stow Maries WW1 Aerodorme. Fish andd chips from the local Friendly Fryer will be brought to eat around 9pm. Bring your own drink (soft drinks and coffee can be bought on site. This is a fantastic evening with transports you back to another time. Some who come dress up in 40s costumes. Fun filled night with lots of dancing and music to enjoy.
