Another DOT theatre open air production held at this popular venue. Bring picnic chairs and suitable warm clothing then settle down to enjoy this famous production which takes place under the trees beside the river. Heritage Weekend at the Museum of Power

Waterways Triathlon

Pick up your paddles, pump up your bicycle tyres and dust off your running shoes for The Inland Waterways Association’s (IWA) first Waterways Triathlon in Essex. There is a choice of either a 50km or 30km course that will have you canoeing, cycling and running to the finish line. The Art Trail showcases the work of local artists in shops, cafés, and public buildings in and around Maldon. From paintings and photographs to sculptures, textiles, millinery, and paper-cutting, the diverse range of work that has appeared over the years proves time and time again, the talent of the region’s artists. Many of the exhibits will be displayed in windows and viewable 24/7 for the duration of the trail but please check the art trail website for more detail.
