A monthly activity day at Stow Maries for 8-14 year olds to explore and enjoy a variety of activities linked by the theme of ‘flight’! From simple paper planes to building a series of ‘build and fly’ models, from creating gliders and rockets. Refreshments available on site in our atmospheric Mess Hall.
Cost: £5 per child plus entry fee for accompanying adult

Wassail

Museum of Power, Hatfield Road, Langford, Maldon   CM9 6QA
Lots to enjoy at this event, with beer, mulled cider, food stalls (veggie too), folk music, a blessing of fruit trees and more beer. Morris dancers to tap your feet to lots more beer and a good cheer!! And more besides. We will have new apple trees to plant in the grounds of the museum which will be part of the blessing. There will be people about to give you a historical low down of the Wassail, so ask what it's all about. If you haven't been to a Wassail before, then why not come down and

Maldon Amateur Pantomine Society present Dick Whittington. MAPS perform to combined audiences of over a thousand people and believe that a good quality pantomime is important as this is often the first introduction to live theatre for children.
