Viking Saga

Viking Saga was built locally in 1947 and following a complete restoration she is available for cruises from Maldon and neighbouring ports. Most public trips are 40 minute excursions from Maldon Promenade out past Heybridge towards Osea Island then back in the opposite direction past Hythe Quay.

A cruise on the Viking Saga is probably the best way to view Hythe Quay with its attractive fleet of Thames sailing barges.

Private charters are also available.

The Viking Saga is licensed by The Marine Coastguard Agency for 94 passengers.

All cruises are subject to weather, tide and local conditions.
